This isn't a yoga retreat.
It isn't a wellness weekend or a carefully curated Instagram experience.
It's a small group of women, in some of the most powerful places on earth, doing the harder and more honest work of actually stopping.
Of feeling what's there.
Of asking the questions most of us have been too busy to sit with.
You'll practice.
You'll rest.
You'll have conversations you probably haven't had anywhere else.
You'll go home with something real.
Upcoming: Two Retreats.
Two threads of the same work.
Respira — Spain
A Women's Retreat · Andalusia, Spain · October 2027
Respira · Spain
This one is about rest and connection, real versions of both, not the performance of either. Mornings start slow, with daily yoga that’s an invitation, not a requirement. Afternoons are for beach days, wandering white villages, a day in Granada, a catamaran sail, flamenco that gets everyone on their feet. Or skip it all and sit by the water. Then long meals at a table that isn’t going anywhere, and sobremesa, that slow stretch after the plates are cleared when the real conversation starts.
Living in Andalusia taught me that community here isn’t an event on the calendar. It’s how people live. Neighbors linger in the plaza, lunch runs into the afternoon, and nobody eats alone. That feeling is the whole point of this retreat.
You arrive tired and a little guarded. By day three there are inside jokes. You leave with women who get it.
Most of us have forgotten what it feels like to breathe all the way out. That’s what we’re here for.

The Land Remembers – Ireland
Welcome to Ireland
We go back further here.
Long before women were taught to fear getting old, Ireland had the Cailleach. The hag. The keeper of winter. The old woman who shaped the hills with her own hands and was honored for it, before anyone decided she was something to be afraid of. Her name is still on the land. Hag’s Head, the stones, the wells, the places people kept visiting long after they were told to stop.
That’s what this week is about. Not a tour, and not a lecture. We walk the Burren slowly, with time to sit with whatever comes up: the women who came before us, aging, the parts of ourselves we were taught to make smaller. Some days are full. Some are for a fire, a book, and a long walk with nowhere to be.
It’s a small group of women, and that matters. Some of what comes up out there is easier to say to someone standing next to you.
The land remembers what we were. Most of us are still figuring out how to.
Each day is woven from:
- Celtic and Irish history — the stories of the land we're standing in, the women who came before us, and what was taken and what survived
- Ancestral exploration — connecting your own lineage to the wider history, understanding yourself as part of a longer story
- Sacred site outings — visits to stone circles, ancient dolmens, and the landscape features connected to the Cailleach and Celtic feminine tradition
- Herbalism and land practice — reconnecting to the earth through the plants and practices that were part of women's knowledge before they were taken away
Each day cont.
- Morning movement and meditation — gentle, grounded, designed to open rather than perform
- Artisanal craft — making something with your hands as a practice in presence and reclamation
- Shared meals from local cuisine — long tables, good food, real conversation
- Free time — because some things can only be understood when you stop trying to understand them and just let the Irish landscape do what it does

What the days look like
Mornings start with meditation and movement. Not a workout — a practice. The kind that asks you to pay attention to what's actually happening in your body rather than push through it.
Afternoons are where the real work happens. Guided reflection, facilitated conversation, time with the material — the history of women's power, the questions worth sitting with. Sometimes in a group. Sometimes alone with your journal and the Andalusian sun.
What the days look like cont.
Evenings are for the slower things. Food, wine, conversation, the kind of connection that happens when a small group of women stops performing for each other.
There is no hustle here. There is nowhere to be and nothing to achieve. That is the point.

What Women Say
From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, seen, and held in a space of pure peace and sisterhood.

Danielle created such a safe space to decompress from the world. The food, the sisterhood, the accommodations — all next level. Truly something I'd want to be a part of for years to come.

Who This Is For
You’ve been running on empty for longer than you’d like to admit.
- You’ve done the therapy, the self-help, the morning routines — and something still feels missing.
- You’re starting to suspect the problem was never you.
- You want to be in a room with women who get it, without having to explain yourself first.
- You’re ready to stop performing okay, even just for a few days.
- You don’t know exactly what you’re looking for — but you’re open to leaving with something you can’t quite name and will recognize the second you feel it.
Who it’s not for
These retreats are not for everyone, and that’s on purpose.
If you want a luxury vacation, a fitness intensive, or a structured program with a syllabus and deliverables — this isn’t it. The work here is internal. The pace is slow, deliberately. Come ready to be present, not productive.
